Welcome to my website! My name is Scott Attebery. I live in Arkansas with my son, Bryce. We enjoy biking, movies, going to Razorback games, and serving the Lord through our local church in Conway, Arkansas.

I am the Executive Director of DiscipleGuide Church Resources, a ministry of the Baptist Missionary Association of America. I have also served as a campus minister at the University of Central Arkansas and as a pastor at Wyatt Baptist Church in El Dorado, AR.

In 2008, my wife, Jill, passed away in an automobile accident. Through it all, God has been faithful to my son, Bryce, and me.

This is my personal blog. I focus on sharing my story as a life-long learner of Christ. My greatest strengths are visionary leadership, creative problem solving, strategy development, and ministry mobilization. So I blog about christian living, church health, and discipleship. I generally post once a day during the week. You can keep up by subscribing to my free email notifications.

Writing is a creative outlet for me. Besides posting to my blog, I am occasionally featured on Pastors.com and ChurchLeaders.com. I contribute regularly to Mission:World magazine and Homelife Magazine.

I am a graduate of Central Baptist College (B.A., Bible), the BMA Theological Seminary (Masters of Divinity), and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Doctorate of Ministry).
